Physics (and math) are fun, really
The distance between any two points x1,y1 and x2,y2 is D=((x1-x2)2+(y1-y2)2).5
Where x1,y1 =(6,2) and x2,y2 =(6,-5) notice that the x coordinates are the same 6 so they do not add to the distance. D=((2-(-5))2).5= 7 units.
