I normally recommend to use Duolingo, watch German TV over the internet. Try to read easy German articles and use News in Slow German. The more you are exposed to German the faster you will learn it by getting the hearing for pronunciation.

Adding to what Karin said above, German podcasts are an excellent way to get some German practice when you're on the go. Deutsche Welle (www.dw.com) has a wealth of information for people who are just starting out with German.
