the range is 17 to 23 or 23-17=6

there is no mode because no number occurs more often than all the others (also each number occurs only once)

the data is not skewed because all the numbers are consecutive

the mean is 20 ! why ??

you don't have to add all the numbers and divide by 7

17+23=40 and 40/2=20

18+22=40 and 40/2=20

19+21=40 and 40/2=20

and the middle number is 20 also !

the answer is d)

you could have added and divided if you wanted to but all you had to do was observe the 1st and last, the 2nd and the next to last and so on
