Roomates and I decided whoever gets the master bed pays 50 bucks extra

So my roomates and I decided we would just have the person that got the master bedroom pay an extra 50 dollars. I got the master bed, but I am somehow paying an extra 75 instead of 50. How do we do the math on this to where it comes out equally? Rent is 2490.43 total. We first simply divided that by 3 and subtracted 25 from their rents and added the 50 back to mine, but it ended up being me paying 75 more dollars. Help me please!

2490.43 minus 50 equals 2440.43, divided by three would be 813.48. The other two roommates would pay 813.48 each and you would pay 863.48. (You should have subtracted out the 50 before you divided equally.)

813.48 + 813.48 + 863.47 equals the rent of 2490.43.
