Let x = number of liters of 5% solution

Then, 10.5 - x = number of liters of 8% solution

0.05x + 0.08(10.5 - x) = 0.06(10.5)

0.05x + 0.84 - 0.08x = 0.63

-0.03x = -0.21

x = 7 liters

Use 7 liters of 5% solution and 3.5 liters of 8% solution to make 10.5 liters of 6% solution.
