Assuming the question is asking about 17.5 GRAMS of ZnO (and not 17.5 moles or anything else), then...
17.5 g ZnO x 81.4 g/mole x 1 mole O2/2 moles ZnO x 32 g O2/mole = 3.44 g O2 needed (assuming sufficient Zn is present)
