This is something that can easily be done by feel.
Add water until the mix has proper thickness. Most ready to use "only add water" pancakes mixes work best at a slightly loose consistency but not too loose. When you stir the mix together the lines made by the whisk should disappear shortly after and leave no trace behind, if it leaves lines it's too thick.
