Use factoring to find zeros

Use factoring to find all zeros of x^4 +2x^2-8=0. 
- Simplify radicals.
- Enter zero separated by commas.
- Enter exact values, not decimal approximations. 
- Use I for imaginary numbers.

That is the answer I got when I did it too; however, when I put that as my answer I only got 1/2 credit.

I am sure the solution is correct, but I cannot explain why you got 1/2 credit.  It may be some quirk in how the answer has to be entered.  On-line math lessons are known to be "quirky" when it comes to formats for answers.  You can test the solutions and see that they are correct.

One thing that comes to mind:
 
Did you enter the answer as
 
±2i, ±√2,
 
or as
 
2i, -2i, √2, -√2 ?
 
It could just be something about how the solutions are entered.
