A-frame maker made a large picture frame using 10 ft of frame online. If the length of the finished frame was 2 feet more than the width then what were the dimensions of the frame

Let w = the width

Let w + 2 = the length

P = 2l + 2w

10 = 2(w + 2) + 2w

10 = 2w + 4 + 2w

6 = 4w

1 1/2 feet = w

length = w + 2 = 3 1/2 feet
