On a graph, let the values of x be 0 through 9, to represent 2000 through 2009.
Let the y values be 1605, 1728, ... and plot the points.
(I'd let the origin be (0, 1600) and this go through (10,2400).So the points plotted will be:
(0, 1605), (1, 1728), (2, 1776),... (9,2363).
Then draw the line such that the same number of points appear to the left of the line as appear to the right.
Use two points, find the slope and use the point-slope formula to find the equation.
