These are called literal equations. so

 

D= (1/5)fk for solving for k. 

 

5D=fk        multiply both sides by 5.  In other words multiply by the reciprocal of 1/5, which is 5

(5D)/f = k  dividing both sides by f, since you are trying to isolate k

 

So, the answer would be

 k= (1/5)/f  = k
