2/5 x + 4 = 3/5 x -2 I am assuming that "x" is not in the denominator.
-2/5 x = -2/5 x
4 = 1/5 x - 2
+2 = + 2
6 = 1/5 x
(5)6 = (5) 1/5 x
30 = x
