 Find the equation for the line that passes through the point (2,3)  and that is perpendicular to the line with equation Y=2

The line y=2 is a horizontal line. Therefore, the line perpendicular to it is vertical. Because it is vertical, it is in the form x=k.  If this line needs to pass through (2,3), the line is x=2.

To pass through (2, 3), the line is x = 3.
