Hi, Ayden. I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but I will try to answer anyway.
(0 , 0) is an ordered pair.
Ordered pairs are in the form (x , y).
So, my x-coordinate is 0 and my y-coordinate is 0.
If I am trying to determine whether or not (0, 0) is a solution to the equation y = -7x, I will substitute my two coordinates for their related variables in the equation.
So, if my x coordinate is 0, I get the equation: y = -7(0).
Then, when I also plug my y-coordinate in, I get: 0 = -7(0).
Since, -7 times 0 is equal to 0, I get 0 = 0.
This is a true statement, and so (0, 0) is a solution to the equation.
