Number that took both is 198

 

This covers 198 of the 315 that took calculus, so the ones that

took Calculus ONLY is 315 - 198 = 117 took Calculus only

 

Of the 227 that took Discrete Mathematics, we have 198 accounted for

so the number that Discrete Mathematics Only is 227-198 = 29
