It's gotta be 16 ^ ( 3x + 2) = 1/32
16 = 2^4 while 1/32 = 2^ (-5)
2^4^(3x+2) = 2^(-5)
2^( 12x+8) = 2^(-5) <---- multiplies the exponents
12x + 8 = -5
12x = -13
x = -13/12
CHECK: 16^4(3x+2) = 16^( 3(-13/12)+2))
= 16 ^( -13/4 + 8/4))
= 16^ ( -5/4)
= 16^(1/4*-5)
= 16^(1/4)^-5
= -2 ^(-5)
= 1/32
