exposition is where setting and characters are introduced
rising action is where the tension heightens
climax is where the main conflict is resolved (usually after a final burst of tension)
falling action is when the tension decreases back down
denouement is tying up loose ends, and they all lived happily ever after
you may also find that some people use the terms "falling action" and denouement to mean the same thing.
