Plug in a value for x and find the associated y value:
x = 0: y = 8 ... (0,8)
x = 1: y = -2 + 8 = 6 ... (1,6)
Points (0,8) and (1,6) are on the line.
You can use this method to find as many points
as desired, but two points are enough to
plot and draw the line.
