(b)If gas is $3.03 per gallon, what is the total cost (in dollars) of the gas for the trip?

a) 255/30 = 51/6 = 17/2 = 8 1/2 one way 17 gallons for a round trip

b) at a cost of $3.03 per gallon, total cost = 3.03(8.5) = 25.755 one way. $51.51 round trip cost
