in this example a = b = 1, therefore this is an equation for a circle, not an ellipse.
the center is still (h , k) but the major and minor axes are the diameter of the circle and of course are equal length.
In this case, the radius = 1 so the diameter is 2
The focus and the center are one and the same because c = 0.
