Question

Determine the derivative of the following function:

 

f(x)=[ln abs sin(x^2) ]^3

Answer 1

f'(x) = 3 (ln sin x²)³(1/ sin x²)(2x cos x²)  ...

 

I've discarded the absolute value business, which is OK if we confine x² to the interval [0,pi/2] where all trig values herein are non-negative.
