Let y = the number of calories in a cheeseburger

3x + 4y = 3610

x + 3y = 2020        x = 2020 - 3y

 

3(2020 - 3y) + 4y = 3610

6060 - 9y + 4y = 3610

-5y = -2450

y = 490 calories

x = 2020 - 3y = 2020 - 3(490)

x = 550 calories
