F(x)=-1/2|x-1|+4  THIS IS NOT A QUADRATIC and as such it won't have a vertex

(2) y-intercept is when x=0; substitute & evaluate f(0)

(4) x-intercepts OCCUR whenever y = 0; that would be when |x-1|= 8; you can solve that!
(1) Axis of Symmetry is x=1

(2) Vertex
