Liza has 60 coins in her collection. The collection consists of quarters,dimes,nickels .She has 5 fewer quarters than nickels and ten more dimes than quarters .How many coins of each kind does she have ??

Let n = the number of nickels

Let n - 5 = the number of quarters

Let (n-5) + 10 = the number of dimes

n + n - 5 + n - 5 + 10 = 60

3n = 60

n = 20 nickels

n-5 = 15 quarters

n-5+10 = 25 dimes
