You can use synthetic division to divide the first polynomial by the second polynomial. The quotient will give you a quadratic factor. From there you can factor out the quadratic factor using FOIL.

so ill be left with 1x^2+8x+15 right? and then may i just use the quadratic equation right away or how would i foil this to?? would i do (x-2) and foil it on to (1x^2+8x+15)??
