1/(1-4i) = (1+4i)/[(1-4i)(1+4i)]

 

            = (1+4i)/[1 - 4i + 4i -16i²]     (recall that i² = -1)

 

            = (1+4i)/17

 

            = (1/17) + (4/17)i
