Hi Larry:
y = -6 is a horizontal line with slope m = 0
We want the equation of the line with slope 0 passing
through the midpoint of (−4, 4) and (−8, 2).
It will have a format of y = c where c is some number.
Midpoint: ((x2+x1)/2, (y2 + y1)/2) = ((-8-4))/2 , (2+4)/2) = (-6, 3)
Since we have to have a horizontal line of form y = c
The equation you are looking for is y = 3
