(132 - x) = mL of 25% solution

 

.80x + .25(132 - x) = 132(.50)

80x + 25(132 - x) = 132(50)

80x + 3300 - 25x = 6600

55x = 3300

x = 60 mL of 80% acid solution

132 - x = 132 - 60 = 72 mL of 25% solution
