top divided by bottom
30 divided by 7 is 4 with a remainder of 2
The answer is the whole number. The remainder is the top of the fraction.
The bottom number stays the same.
So yes, 4 and 2/7
Think of it this way: You have 30 slices of pizza and each pizza pie is 7 slices.
Then you will get 4 whole pizzas and 2 slices left over.
so 4 and 2/7
