Find a linear function h, given h(2)=-3 and h(-4)=21. then find h(4)

 Slope of the line:

 

h(2) -h(-4)  = -3 -21   = -4 

 2 - ( -4 )         6

 

Slope between any 2 points on the line is equal to -4.

    h(4) -  h(2) = h(4) -(-3)  = -4

      4  - 2              2

 

     h( 4 ) = -8 -3 = -11
