if f(x) equals 4/3 x (as a fraction) minus 9 what is f raised to the negative 1 power times -3?

Why don't you write your problem in algebraic form , explanation is confusing:

Do you mean:

( 4/3 X - 9 )

^{-1} then

( 4X - 27)

^{-1}= __3____ ( 3 ) 4x -27

If you mean

( 4/3X - 9 )

^{ -1 }= ( 4 - 27X )

^{-1}_{=}3X ( 3X ) 4 - 27 X

## Comments

... what is f raised to the negative 1 power times -3?^{-1}or f^{-1}(-3)? They're different so I need to know which one it is.
