Help!! this word problem keeps stumping me!

For exercise, Mae jogs 4.5 miles then walks an additional 6 miles. If her jogging speed is 2.5 miles per hour faster than her walking speed and her total exercise time is 6 hours, what is her walking speed?

Correct my information if need be, but i took out

w= walk speed
w+4.5 = jog speed
T=D+Speed
6=6/w +4.5/(w+4.5)

Fix the jog speed with step1

1) jog speed = w + 2.5

2) Its a classic rate problem

Distance = Rate x time

3)find the time for walking

4) Find the time for jogging

5) Jogging time + walking time = total time (6)

6) Find the LCM of the right side of the equation

7) Multiply it to both the left, and right side of your equation. You will end up with a quadratic equation. Use the quadratic formula to solve for w.
