john is 14m years old. he is twice as old as his sister. what will be their total ages after 10 years

this is an algebraic equation.  i don't know to solve this.  pls help me.

sister's age= 7

 

after 10 year John age=14+10=24

after 10 years sister's age = 7+10=17

 

total ages afte 10 years =24+17=41
