What is the equation of this axis of symmetry of the parabola

y-2=1/2(x+3)²?

The vertex of the parabola is found by putting the equation in vertex form which is:   f(x) = a(x-h)^2 + k.  The vertex is (h,k) so in this equation it is (-3,2).  The axis of symmetry is a vertical line through this point so the equation is x=-3.
