Algebra 2 need help

1. Solve 3x^2-7x=1 for x
2. Sketch a graph function y=bx+c where a <0 and discriminate is positive
3. Simplify 3/6+7i

Kenneth S.

3.  You probably mean 3/(6+7i).
To simplify, multiply both numerator & denominator by the CONJUGATE of denominator.

1.  Put all terms on one side (setting quadratic = 0).  Try to factor (first tactic).  Since that fails, use quadratic formula.
