Algebra II EXPERT will help you survive & prosper
4 (soda) pops apiece, 21 persons total (including self) requires 84 cans (or bottles) of soda pops; six 12-packs accounts for 72 soda pops.
Possible solutions:
1. cancel the party
2. drink less soda pops--it's not nourishing anyway, and is not good for the stomach and is sometimes associated with kidney stone formation
3. reduce planned per-capita consumption
4. invite less than 20 persons (drop the clumsy ones who always spill drinks on the carpet)
5. purchase more soda; can you figure out how many more 6-packs would be required?

Very sorry that you did not (1) understand that my first paragraph contains dry facts leading you to the possibility of finding that you'd be 12 soda pops short and (2) appreciate my humor in the second paragraph.
