a power company needs to install an underground power line along a road from point A to a house at point C which is 85 feet from the road. The pipeline alongside the road will cost the company $1.27 per foot. At point D, they will turn from the road and head directly towards the house. For this portion of the installation, the cost of the pipeline increases to $1.99 per foot
