math answer

you borrow 50 from mom and 50 from dad. you buy a shirt for 97..and get 3 back. you give 1 to mom and 1 to dad...you keep the other1. Now you owe each parent 49 ea. 49+49 =98...you still ave ! 98+1=99 what happened to the other $1

 

 

 

What they want to know is what happened to the other dollar they had of the $3
