This question has many answers. The ones you are looking for probably are
(x+2) and (x-5)
However if any of these factors is multiplied by a constant, then the quadratic still would cross at the same spots.
For example: (2x+4)(x-5) would be a quadratic crossing at the same values of -2 and 5
The quadratic you are probably looking for is Q(x) = (x+2)(x-5) = x2-3x-10
with factors of (x+2) and (x-5)
But Q(x) could also be any other quadratic Q(x) = C(x2-3x-10) as long as C was not 0.
