Composition of Functions

Getting stumped on this equation any help would be appreciated.

 

Given the functions f  and g  , evaluate  g (f (2))

 

 

f (x) = x^2+6

 

 

g (x) =  √ x-1

 

 

g (f (2)) =  ?

f(x) = x² + 6
g(x) = √(x-1)

 

f(2) = 2² + 6 = 4 + 6 = 10

 

g(f(2)) = g(10) = √(10-1) = √9 = 3
