In the formula C=λf, c dosen't change in the formula. What happens to f if λ increases? What happens to λ if f increases?

Here is the intro. Radio waves are also examples of electromagnetic waves. when you listen to a radio stationm the frequency that you find on the dial describes the frequency of the waves sent out by that particular station, since all electromagnetic waves move at the speed of light, you can calculate the wave length for a station.

velocity = wavelength x frequency.

C doesn't change because it's the speed of light.

 

Therefore if one variable goes up, the other must go down.

 

ex from basic multiplication:

12= 3 x 4 starting point

12 = 6 x 2 an increase in the first term

12 = 1/2 x 24 a decrease in the first term

 

notice that when we increase the 3 to 6, the 4 is reduced to 2.

if we reduce the 3 to 1/2, the 4 is increased to 24.
