√x (√9 - 4/3) = √25 First solve the two known radicals (this leaves us with multiple possibilities)
√x (±3 - 4/3) = ±5 Next simplify the parentheses
√x (5/3) = ±5 and √x (-13/3) = ±5 Now multiply both sides by 3
√x (5) = ±15 and √x (-13) = ±15 Then divide by 5 and -13 respectively
√x = ±3 and √x = ±15/13 Finally, square both side of the equation
