Hello, thank you for answering my question. I believe the first ordered pair is (-4, 0)

y= -|0+4|
y= -4
(-4,0)

-|x+4| = 0
-x= 0+4
x= -4
(-4,0)
I am a bit confused. It might have been something I did wrong because I got the same answer for both problems.

You're welcome, Keissa. If you are letting x = 0 in the first example for the absolute value problem, then the ordered pair would be (0, -4). Remember, ordered pairs are written in the form (x, y). Then, if you let y = 0, then you have:

0 = -|x + 4| The only time that this expression can be true is when the term inside the absolute-value sign is 0.
0 = x + 4
x = -4 This ordered pair would be (-4, 0).
