Since you are asking for an opinion, as Kenneth suggested, I would say that the personality of the programmer is not important. What matters is the programmer's ability to translate written or spoken words into mathematical expressions and equations, and to translate the mathematical expressions and equations into code in a logical manner in the appropriate programming language.
