5x=(2x-2)(m+6)
5x = 2xm + 12x -2m -12
combine all like terms
5x -2xm -12x = -2m-12
-7x -2xm=-2m-12
-x(7+2m)=-2(m+6)
-x = -2(m+6) /(7+2m)
multiply with -1 to both sides
x = 2(m+6) /(7+2m)
