38) Repeat exercise 37, but assume that Joe takes 6 hours working alone, and Sam takes 8 hours working alone.

t represents the time working together

Joe does t/3 of the job

Sam does t/5 of the job

 

t/3 + t/5 = 1

 

Solve for t.
