A quadratic function with zeros at x = 1 and x = 5 will have the form
f(x) = a (x - 1) (x - 5)
We can get a from the point (3, -2):
-2 = a (3 - 1) (3 - 5) = -4a
a = 1/2
f(x) = (1/2) (x - 1) (x - 5)
The y-intercept is where x = 0.
y = (1/2) (0 - 1) (0 - 5) = 5/2
The y-intercept is the point (0, 5/2)
