Thanks guys I actually got both of those answers my confusion with her is we are working on probability but she asked the odds and as you say there is a difference as with odds you have that 1-p,,,thanks

Hello Arnold! I had a question about understanding odds compared to probability. I'm thinking of ratios as more of 1 part per 4 parts, but there are a total of 5 parts (chemistry reasoning is coming through). Would the thinking be along the same lines, so that 1 event per 4 would be event A, but there are 5 events total?
