Mrs gopal baked some cookies. She gave away 250 cookies and packed the remaining cookies into bags of 12. Each bag of cookies was sold for $8. She received $2016 from the sale of all bags of cookies. How many cookies did she bake at first?

Multiply this amount by 12 to get the number of cookies.

Finally, add 250 to this number to know how many cookies were baked.
