When you have an expression like this you want to see if you can factor something out! So it looks like an “n” will come out of both terms on top and on bottom
(n^2 – 2n) / (n^2 – 6n)
= n(n-2) / n(n-6)
The like terms cancel then so you are left with
(n-2)/(n-6) for the end expression, with the note that n cannot equal 0 and n cannot equal 6
